For courtesy room blocks, The Hilton can start by reserving 10 rooms per night.  If those rooms fill up The Hilton will certainly look at adding more (based up on availability)  If there are any guestrooms still in the block 3 weeks before the arrival date, they just get released back into our normal hotel inventory.  The discounted room rate The Hilton offers the Class would be $129+tax for standard guestrooms and $149+tax for River View guestrooms.   The Hilton will need the following  information.

The Watermark's  availability offers a group rate of $149 for standard kings and $149 for doubles.  The Watermark will block 10 standard guestrooms per night at a group discount.  Classmates will have until the cutoff date (30 days) prior to arrival to reserve.  On the cutoff date, whatever rooms have not been reserved will be released.  The Watermark only offer 10 rooms as a courtesy.

Many of our fellow classmates are interested in accommodations for "The Gathering of the Tribe."  To that end, The Reunion Committee has been in contact with the Courtyard by Marriott Downtown Baton Rouge, The Watermark, and The Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center, inquiring about reserving blocks of rooms at each for classmates needing accommodations.  To that end, the following is what those facilities have offered.
